The article identifies the integrality attribute and elements of integral care for solving the health problems of children in the caregiver´s perception. Qualitative research, based on the hermeneutic-dialectic, composed of 16 interviews conducted and talking maps. The data showed: Children´s care focused on the sickness; a view further than the biologic is emerging; centered care on the technical success looking for practical success; non-existence of light-hard and hard technologies to the care. The partiality of integrality conducted to the non-solving of the children´s health problems, it demonstrated a necessity to change the way of thinking and making health.
