ABSTRACT
The article presents the rescue of the process of institutionalization of health practices in a unit of Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), comprising the different approaches of health-work relations. It is a case study developed through documentary research and semi-structured interviews, using content analysis. Difficulties are found in adapting ways to regulate work with the principles of the field of Occupational Health due to the lack of integration of actions, technical standardization and exchange of knowledge. It is concluded that there is a need for institutional policies favoring spaces for the broad participation of workers in all processes for the care of their health and safety.
