Abstract
This article aims to show that the integrative current in psychotherapy, beyond a simple convergent eclecticism of various techniques, contributes to the development of the epistemology of complexity. From a clinical case, I explored how the approximate contributions are made between integrative psychoanalysis and clinical sociology. Their reciprocal questions lead to the hypothesis of an evolutionism of the human psyche that the theoretical elaborations of either field have scarcely explored.
