Abstract
This paper aims to discuss and try to lay the foundations for an approach to legal phenomenon from a theoretical leather study own religions, given the diverse, and often unexplored, interfaces between law and religion. In this sense, it presents the theoretical frameworks for the proposed approach, which is worth the specificity of the categories developed within the science of religions, taking the religious phenomenon by their own religious and specific aspects, using then John Calvin's political theology as initial sample analysis.
