This article deals with the pertinence of the initiatives of coordinating the agents around local politics in order to face the effects of companies' restructuring on the gender and race inequality. It analyses the case of ABC in São Paulo in the 90's, when the labor market was reorganized and the rules of inclusion of Afro-Brazilian and women were redefined, what stimulated several possibilities of creating equity politics.
