This article seems to recover the national migratory trends for the State of São Paulo in 1990s, denoting the centrality of the São Paulo Metropolitan Area. In the intra-regional scope, the metropolis-interior migratory flows are analyzed, in special in the areas consolidated as spaces witch receive population.
