Segregação socioespacial e violência na cidade de São Paulo: referências para a formulação de políticas públicas

This article focuses the subject of violence, emphasizing the high incidence of homicides in the outskirt areas of the city of São Paulo. It analyses the out skirting process and the ways the State historically had acted in these areas and indicates relevant points to the public politics of reducing violence and expanding citizenship.
