Atributos raciais no funcionamento do Sistema de Justiça Criminal Paulista

This article assesses the influence of race and gender in the functioning of the São Paulo State criminal justice system. Through the use of longitudinal analysis, that is, analysis that tracks individuals as they make their way through the criminal justice system (in this case, from indictment to the serving of the sentence for robbery), one may observe the different treatments accorded to women and men, blacks and whites.
