This article presents some reflections on the No Hunger Program, in the context of the Brazilian social politics in recent years, under the influence of neoliberal ideals. It brings a summary of the Program and develops an analysis of its social and political meaning regarding the Brazilian social question. It also presents its first results and the main technical and political polemics.
