Industry 4.0 and labour 0.4: digital colonialism and the intensification of work

Abstract:

This article looks at the configurations of labour and their historical evolution, starting from the beginning of capitalism, its expansion in the industrial revolution, to industry 4.0 and its most modern technologies for the precariousness and exploitation of the workforce. In the same vein, it emphasises the reflexive determinations between capitalism and racism, highlighting the perpetuation of the dynamics of ethnic-racial domination, now with the newest and most sophisticated technological tools.
