Abstract:
This article is produced based on a qualitative and exploratory research about the Vale do Ribeiras (SP) CAPS, whose objective is to discuss the consequences of psychiatric counter-reform in these services from the critical anti-asylum perspective. Conversation Rounds were performed with CAPS workers between October and November 2023 and the results showed the return to psychiatric practices, the commodification of health services and the funding of Therapeutic Communities.
