Abstract:
The article explores the connection between contemporary slavery in Brazil and superexploitation, based on the analysis of the structural elements of labor relations in the country. It is observed that the socio-historical particularities of Latin American dependent capitalism are fundamental to the formation of the working class. The text is structured around two main axes: dependent economy and superexploitation of labor; and contemporary slavery in Brazil and the counter-reforms. For this analysis, we used a bibliographic survey as the methodological basis.
