Abstract:
In the historicity of the last 40 years of the Brazilian Social Service, the objective is to understand the intellectual production published in the Social Work and Society Journal and the organic links that give support to the ethical-political direction of the professional project, having the research and production of knowledge as mediation strategy. It contextualizes the current attacks on knowledge production, university autonomy and critical thinking in the Brazilian public university and the challenges posed to ABEPSS.
