The article aims to present the importance of the penal abolitionist movement and its expression in social movements and struggles. We discuss the possible dialogues between Social Service, social movements and the professional political ethics project (PEPP), in view of the objectification of central ethical principles - freedom and democracy - of a criminal abolitionist and anti-racist practice in different socio-occupational spaces.
