Entrepreneurship, crisis and reproduction of capital: historical-concrete mediations

Abstract:

This article aims to discuss the historical-concrete mediations of entrepreneurship and its relationship with Brazilian Social Service, using the Marxian theory of crisis as its guiding thread. We argue that the ideological-political incentive for entrepreneurship has a structural link with the precariousness of work, heightened in the context of the contemporary crisis, under rentier hegemony. This tendency manifests itself in the sphere of capital reproduction and, unequivocally, in the institutions and socio-occupational spaces where social workers work.
