ABSTRACT:
This article develops the genesis of socio-legal social work under the influence of hygienism and legal model of the time when the profession in Chile is created. Discusses its development discipline since 1928 and the paradigm shift from the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1990, identifying some milestones that have marked the challenges that social work partner law has faced in 90 years of the Social Work Chile.
