Abstract:
The article aimed to analyze the “escalation” of pesticides during the Bolsonaro Government through the release and flexibility of chemical products demanded by the commodities sector. The methodology consisted of a bibliographical research, with a critical literature review and quantitative data on pesticides in Brazil. The results point to a substantial increase in the release of pesticides for agribusiness, which causes a chain of harmful effects on the environment and society.
