Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the growing social inequality in world capitalism and in Brazil, I try to locate some of the main features of the recent conjuncture in the country that advances in the neoliberal counter-reforms, especially in the proposals of counter-reform of social security at the Federal level and in fiscal adjustment programs in the states, harshly impacting Brazilian workers as well as social workers as part of this contingent.
