Abstract:
This article deals with the advance of the right in Brazil. It presents some criticism to the conservative ideas and their updating as neoconservatism. It emphasizes its values, ways of manifestation, moralization of social reality and implications for the Social Work profession, in order to aim at its theoretical and practical coping.
