The present work aimed to describe the epidemiologic profile and evaluate the quality of life among individuals suffering from Diabetes mellitus and hypertension, accompanied by a Family Health team. It is a monitorial study of transversal investigation. Descriptive statistics and WHOQOL-bref syntax were used for data analysis. The data was collected by HIPERDIA cards, as well as by interviews to make use the WHOQOL-bref. Thirty people with associative hypertension and diabetes, 75% type 2 and 25% type 1, were interviewed. The average age was 56 years old, with the majority not having completed grade school (56.7%) and illiterate (33.3%). The majority (80.6%) of those interviewed use medications, 19.4% smoked regularly, 27.8% didn't exercise, and 47.2% were obese. The individuals presented in general a positive evaluation of their overall life quality and for the domains: social relationships, physical, psychological, and environment, completely opposite that expected.
