The work is based on a literature review. Its aim is to contribute to the construction of a conceptual-philosophical framework of nursing pediatric care within the Mexican context. This study attempts to establish a dialogue between philosophical, psychological, and nursing concepts with the historic process of care in Mexico in order to construct a more ample, comprehensive, and humanized point of view about child care in Mexico.
