This work aimed to explore the ethical dimension of professional activity in its etymological aspect. Its goal was to relate ethics and Nursing on a daily basis as it pertains to the actions taken in health. It also relates bioethical principles to health services given to patients. It defends the value of life on Earth, with a conscious, mutual and responsible attitude from all human beings and especially from health professionals. It indicates that the principles of beneficence, not-malfeasance, autonomy and justice must be used as a source for studying and understanding difficult situations in everyday health services.
