Resilience means the human been capacity of facing and answering positively to the adverse experiences to their health and development. To talk to resilience means to talk about health production in the adverse contexts. Aiming to answer what makes a family, even living in an adverse context, have a health care practice capable of creating good conditions for their members build a healthy trajectory of life, the resilience conception is presented with its possible approximations to the health promotion concept, presenting some actions that empower the potential professional actions in health promotion: from the negative dimension of illness to persons/families potentialities; the intersectorial and interdisciplinary actions articulations, to becoming compatible the public healthy policies and enlargement of protector mesures to the health.
