Reliability computing results real numbers, which can generate numeric problems caused by the limitation of operating with real numbers in a discrete digital machine. This paper proposes a method, developed in Matlab using Intlab library, focused on calculating intervals that enclose real values of reliability, controlling numeric errors. The SHARPE software was used to compare real values and intervals obtained with the developed method.
