The theoretical and methodological bases of the document orientações curriculares para o ensino Médio- espanhol (MEC, 2006) are also considered. Some suggestions concerning themes that can be studied in the classroom of S/FL are presented too, and this sort of work intends to foster knowledge about the Hispanic-american linguistic and cultural heterogeneity with the aim of leading the learners to recognize themselves as Brazilian citizens.
