The article focuses on Rio and São Paulo media representations concerning the military regime in its initial phase, from 1964 to 1969. e analysis takes into consideration the editorials and the political cartoons published by six daily newspapers examined in the research. is study o-ers a better understanding of the paradoxical attitudes of the daily press.
