Ethics in Jean Burlamaqui and the teaching of natural right at Coimbra

This study focus on the work of Jean Burlamaqui, Principes du droit naturel, which has been used in the teaching of philosophy in Portugal, about 1770. The main moral notions of Burlamaqui's theory of natural law are exposed in this work with the purpose of emphasize its rule to constitute the preconceptions for a Portuguese political reflection.
