MODOS DE SER E DE VIVER: A Sociabilidade Urbana

This article is concerned with kinds of sociability found in two different historical periods in the South of the Country: the wide sociability which is related to the day-by-day life intra different social groups, a wide relationships with streets and an absence of privacity of bodies and spaces, and, the restrict or bourgeois sociability, which, by oposition, prevent men and its social celebrations from streets restricting the social contacts to a social class contact, instauring the cultivation of domesticity and privacy of bodies, mind and social spaces.
