The new policy of post-graduation in Brazil

This article deals with the policy of evaluation of the post-graduation in Brazil built in 1998. It points the differences in the previous systematic and comes up with the resulting implications of the new model. It also calls the attention to the functional feature of the evaluation, to its development in the ambit of the intellectual production, of the formation of the students and of the principles which outlined the post-graduation studies.
