These research notes are an inventory of the musical instruments of the Aikewára Indians who occupy the Sororó Indigenous Area in the Southeast of the State of Pará. The first phase of the research involved establishing relationships between musical instruments myth and song in the rites found in Sapurahái and Karuára. The second phase of this doctoral research will concentrate on Aikewára songs as set forth in the text.
