In this article we will try to think of the speeches that on the women were circulating in Tucumán's written at the end of the 19th century. Our aim is analyze which were the principal sources wherefrom they were coming, which would be the social functionality of the same ones, and what influence they could have in the conformation of the identity of the women of the local middle class.
