Considerations about physical activity during, pregnancy

Resumos

A autora faz uma revisão dos estudos que exploram os efeitos da atividade física durante a gestação sobre o binômio mãe-filho. Diante dos dados existentes, bastante controversos, questiona a tendência atual de estimular atividades físicas mais vigorosas na gravidez.

The author reviews works dealing with the effects of physical activity during pregnancy on the maternal and fetal organism. Considering the great controversy existent in the literature comments on the tendency to recommend more vigorous activity to pregnant woman is examined.
