Sob o signo de Zarathustra* * Publicado no jornal Gazeta de Noticias. Rio de Janeiro, terça-feira, 22 de Janeiro de 1935, p. 3.

Abstract

Based on the assumption that the very philosophers and artists will be the ones capable of "raise new perspectives in the spirit of man", the author explore the main themes of Nietzschean philosophy to show their validity in all the manifestations in contemporary times. As a thinker that would have reported the "infections of the modern world", whose "interior unity is founded in psychology", Nietzsche explored in depth the role of instincts, developing a form of knowing capable to explain some psychological facts that constitute both the philosophy and the art. Thus, the ideas of the author of Zarathustra would be crucial to understand, for example, the work of Ronald de Carvalho - a Brazilian writer that, in recovering from a serious accident, would pass away some days after the publication of the present article.
