RESUMO O artigo analisa a dinâmica de controle dos protestos em São Paulo, de junho de 2013 a junho de 2014, focalizando as coalizões de atores, arenas e repertórios institucionais. Argumentamos que a repressão policial em 13 de junho, em São Paulo, encorajou cidadãos comuns a se juntarem às manifestações, bem como impulsionou mudanças nas respostas dos governos local e federal aos protestos e em repertórios repressivos de controle social.

ABSTRACT The article analyzes the dynamics of protest control in São Paulo, from June 2013 to June 2014, focusing on coalitions between actors, arenas and institutional repertoires. We argue that the police crackdown on June 13 in São Paulo encouraged ordinary citizens to join the demonstrations, as well as spurred changes in local and federal government responses to protests and in repressive repertoires of social control.

RESUMO O artigo analisa a atuação da Frente Parlamentar de Terreiros no Congresso Nacional entre as 54ª e 55ªlegislaturas, com o objetivo de refletir sobre modalidades de inserção pública de religiosos de matriz afro-brasileira na política. Para tanto, acompanhei eventos de lançamento da Frente em Brasília e realizei entrevistas com articuladores e deputados a ela integrados. A defesa da liberdade e a luta por reconhecimento atravessam suas distintas formações.

ABSTRACT The article analyzes the actions of the Parliamentary Front of Terreiros in the National Congress between the 54th and 55th legislatures in order to reflect on modalities of public insertion of Afro-Brazilian religious in politics. I attended events to launch the Front in Brasília and conducted interviews with its articulators and deputies. The defense of freedom and the struggle for recognition crosses its different formations.

RESUMO O artigo analisa como as ações afirmativas na pós-graduação ingressaram na agenda decisória da Capes e do MEC, bem como o processo que resultou na Portaria Normativa n. 13/2016. Baseia-se em documentos e em entrevistas com partícipes do grupo de trabalho que discutiu o tema e representantes da Capes e do MEC. O trabalho mostra que a questão não alcançou a agenda geral de políticas públicas do país e que há resistência à edição de normas vinculantes.

ABSTRACT The paper analyzes how affirmative action in graduate studies entered the decision-making agenda of Capes and MEC and the process that resulted in Normative Order No. 13/2016. It is based on documents and interviews with members of the working group that discussed the topic and with representatives of Capes and MEC. The work shows that the issue has not reached the country’s general agenda of public policies and the resistance to binding norms.

RESUMO Este trabalho analisa a evolução das despesas em saúde realizadas com receitas próprias pelos municípios brasileiros após a vigência da Emenda Constitucional 29/2000, com o intuito de verificar se cresceram de forma homogênea nas diferentes regiões do país e se eventuais desigualdades regionais diminuíram, se mantiveram ou aumentaram com o tempo. Utiliza o Índice Global e Local de Moran, buscando padrões de correlação espacial e formação de clusters.

ABSTRACT This paper analyzes the evolution of health expenditures using own revenues by Brazilian municipalities after the promulgation of Constitutional Amendment 29/2000, in order to verify if they grew homogeneously in different regions of the country and if regional inequalities decreased, maintained or increased with time. It uses Moran’s Global and Local Index to look for patterns of spatial correlation and clusters formation.

RESUMO O ensaio busca analisar o romance O pai da menina morta (2018), de Tiago Ferro, considerando o modo como a pandemia de Covid-19 modificou o livro, trazendo à tona as relações entre natureza, tragédia e capitalismo. Igualmente, busca repensar os nexos entre vida, ficção e processo social presentes nesse romance.

ABSTRACT This essay seeks to analyze Tiago Ferro’s novel O pai da menina morta (2018), considering how the Covid-19 pandemic brought out the relations between nature, tragedy and capitalism, changing the meaning of the book. It also seeks to rethink the nexus between life, fiction and social process.

RESUMO Este texto busca entender como a dialética de Roberto Schwarz se insere na própria forma ensaística de sua obra. Argumenta-se que há em sua crítica uma percepção aguda para a escrita do ensaio por meio do qual a literatura e a cultura brasileira são analisadas e interpretadas. Diante disso, reavalia-se a relação de Schwarz com o modernismo brasileiro, além de se recuperar sua própria obra de criação, como A lata de lixo da história e Corações veteranos.

ABSTRACT This article aims at understanding how the dialectics of Roberto Schwarz presents itself in the form of his essay. It argues that his critique shows a keen perception for the writing of the essay by which Brazilian literature and culture are analyzed and interpreted. By doing so, it re-evaluates the relation between Schwarz and the Brazilian modernism, besides recovering his own creative work like A lata de lixo da história and Corações veteranos.

RESUMO Pretendemos, neste artigo, comparar as obras de Hélio Oiticica e Rubem Valentim, em busca de similitudes e diferenças entre elas. Sugerimos e exploramos, a partir dessa comparação, a ideia de que Valentim seria crítico ao tropicalismo de Oiticica. Ademais, aventamos, tendo em vista os trabalhos de ambos, a existência de dois caminhos para a antropofagia na arte brasileira.

ABSTRACT In this article, we intend to compare the works of Hélio Oiticica and Rubem Valentim, looking for similarities and differences between them. We suggest and explore, from this comparison, the idea that Valentim would be critical of Oiticica’s tropicalism. Furthermore, we indicate, considering their work, that there are two paths to anthropophagy in Brazilian art.
