This paper proposes to teach the statistical nature of the second law of thermodynamics in High School. We adapt a former idea by Martin Sussman to represent microstates, using materials, such as a PET bottle, marbles, and a plastic hose. We present a program to simulate the counting of states, which reproduces the distribution of marbles in the hose (Gaussian)
