REPENSAR LA CARRERA PÚBLICA BRASILEÑA DESDE LA PERSPECTIVA DE LOS PROCESOS DE TRANSFORMACIÓN GLOBAL

Organizational change processes are becoming increasingly common from the point of view of strategies, restructuring or technologies, without taking into account the change in relationships that involves the individual with the organization, with society and with himself. Many people are putting less value on traditional concepts such as loyalty, authority, seniority, or promotion, so that work, family, self-development, and career can receive substantial attention. This context highlights the particularities of the Brazilian federal public service workforce and its interrelation with the career system that was adopted for this class of workers. Thus, the present essay aims to enter the universe of theories that explore the characteristics of the Brazilian federal public career, in order to confront them with the theories and trends that cover the theme today. To achieve this objective, a bibliographic research was carried out from a qualitative approach with the nature of a theoretical essay, and it was observed that there is a mismatch between the reality of the Brazilian federal public career and the evolution of theories that deal with the subject.
