Open-access Weavings and “knots” in the implememntation phase of a public psychoanalysis and matrix support service for situations of violence

Abstract

This paper presents one of the implementation strategies of a public service that offers therapeutic groups in 8 sessions through brief psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adolescents and women exposed to violence. It describes the provision of an institutional model of psychoanalytic listening in groups, in a service that combines three clinical devices aimed at the population in situations of violence: 1) groups for women, 2) groups for adolescents, and 3) ambiance; offered simultaneously in cycles of 8 sessions. After each session, we conducted clinical supervisions, which were recorded in a field diary. We will present the dynamics of the service with a clinical illustration of listening to a family whose members were simultaneously attended in the different devices that comprise it (therapeutic groups and ambiance) and the possible connections to be made in this care through psychoanalytic listening in the supervision group (institutional meta-framework).
