In this paper, we intend to think about the issue of truth in psychoanalysis, based on its proximity to the idea of post-truth and to the fake news, which achieve status of absolute truth and foment hatred in social networks. For being disseminated in interconnected networks, they allow words to widely circulate. Concerning the field of psychoanalysis, the explosion of fake news and their effects on discourse raise questions about the relationship of language and the field of the Other, and about its drive effects, leading us to debate the symbolic order in our century.
