Brazilian Annals of Dermatology 1925-2005
In 2005, the Anais Brasileiros de Dermatologia commemorate 80 years of existence, a rare fact among medical journals. During this entire period the Anais has stood out as the Brazilian dermatological community's spokesperson. Its pages offering articles and communications of unquestionable scientific value. Nothing more reasonable, therefore, that the date is fully commemorated.
In next year's issues, the reader will notice the modifications that are being effected, in a gradual but dependable form, by the editorial team: inclusion of new sections ("Do you know this syndrome?" and "The Anais 80 years ago"), thereby broadening the spectrum of information for the readers; special supplements with summaries of the works presented at the 60th Brazilian Congress of Dermatology (Brasilia) and complete publication of the best selected works; editorials with critical analysis of relevant themes and creation of the International Advisory Board.
Brazilian dermatologists are invited to be the main partici pants in this celebration.
