Abstract
This study aimed to investigate some perceptions that students of the last year of high school exhibit about the human body and systems that integrate it. We investigate 87 (eighty-seven) students of the third year of high school to three distinct institutions through a questionnaire that contained three open questions with illustrative situations of daily life, in which there were actions relating to various systems of the human body. Our data has been organized into categories (Reductionist and systemic Perceptions), in accordance with the core meaning that was presented within the theoretical framework for content analysis. The results, analyzed within the qualitative approach, show a higher percentage of perceptions that indicates a detachment between didactic body and biocultural body.
