Rural Education in dispute: resistance versus subalternity to capital

ABSTRACT:

The goal of this paper was to depict the paradigm differences between countryside education built up from the peasant trend of the Paradigmatic Agrarian Matter (PQA) and the offer of Countryside Education based on the Agrarian Capitalism Paradigm (PCA), focusing on the experience of the Rural Youth Entrepreneurship Program, established by Souza Cruz Institute (ISC) and implemented by Rural Youth Development Center (CEDEJOR) in center-south Paraná. From this analysis, the intention is to support the paradigm originating countryside education. Methodology used involved political-pedagogical analysis, participating observation, and interviews with coordinators, students, instructors, and educators.
