Dear all,
We come to the end of volume 33 presenting our fourth and last issue in 2015! We close the year in which we dedicated our covers to horticultural products of high added-value with Professor Ricardo Tadeu de Farias, from the State University of Londrina, along with Ronan Carlos Colombo, discussing the potential of orchids from genus Oncidium in the cover article.
As indicated in our first letter this year, over 2015 we increased the rigor of manuscript pre-reviewing. Thus, only papers with recognized scientific and technological relevance, and evident contribution to the development of horticulture, are making to the reviewing process. In this way, we keep our steady purpose of serving our public, perhaps in the best of our understanding: offering an increasingly trustworthy publishing vehicle.
To assist authors in this new phase, our Style & Format Manual is available online, at www.horticulturabrasileira.com.br. The manual will be constantly updated. There, authors find guidance on how to highlight in the manuscript text, from title to discussion, their best results and highest impact conclusions. Use it!
Finally, we are grateful to you who have contributed so much to Horticultura Brasileira in 2015. We will meet again in 2016.
