Realizar um levantamento da situação linguística em duas comunidades teuto-brasileiras de Santa Catarina, compostas por famílias com e sem origens alemãs, em contexto escolar.
Conclusão alcançada
Muitos alunos participantes da pesquisa, monolíngues em português, entram em contato com o alemão através dos colegas e na própria escola, e todas as famílias veem como positivo o ensino das duas línguas: as não-bilíngues consideram o alemão importante para o futuro, e as bilíngues português/língua de imigração, por manter a resgatar as origens da família.

A estrutura do inglês é de mais fácil ativação do que a do alemão, por possibilitar a elaboração linear das orações.

Observar a influência da L1 turco e da L2 inglês em aprendizes de L3 alemão, no nível lexical.
Conclusão alcançada
Dois fatores de forte impacto na predominância de uma influência do inglês sobre a do turco na aprendizagem do alemão são a psicotipologia, a distância entre línguas percebida pelo aprendiz, e a tendência de suprimir a L1 em ambientes de língua estrangeira, de modo que os participantes tenderam a evitar o turco e usar o inglês mesmo em instâncias em que sabiam que isso não afetaria o processo de avaliação.

Tanto o grupo CLIL como o grupo de controle demonstraram maior produtividade em L2 inglês do que em L3 alemão, mas o grupo CLIL foi melhor em ambas as línguas do que o grupo de controle, e também utilizou um maior número de estratégias comunicativas.
