Abstract
This work offers an analysis of the paradoxical role played by the writings of Giorgio Agamben during the covid pandemic. With several interventions minimizing the seriousness of the disease and criticizing the sanitary measures adopted by the Italian government, Agamben became object of constant criticisms. Despite his stance, however, this work aims to show the utility of Agamben’s philosophy to understand our present context.
