Abstract:
This article analyzes the consequences of the dismantling that occurred in the Unified Social Assistance System, from the perspective of decolonial social thought. The study focuses on the period from 2016 to 2022, highlighting a process of destruction based on hygienist, conservative and ultra-neoliberal concepts. It is concluded that there is a need for a decolonial approach, which implies the strengthening of collective projects that value human diversity under equal conditions.
