Sexual diversity and professional training: the imperative of overcoming signs and implementing principles

Abstract:

This article highlights how the debate on sexual diversity appears in professional training in Social Work. The results were obtained through the analysis of 217 curricular structures of in-person undergraduate courses in Social Work. The data reveal the weakness in incorporating the theme within the scope of professional training, with the aim of supporting the inclusion of mandatory subjects on sexual diversity, complying with the guidelines established by ABEPSS.
