Tratamento da obstrução congênita do conduto nasolacrimal

RESUMO

Uma série de 48 crianças com obstrução congênita do conduto nasolacrimal foi tratada com a massagem hidrostática de Crigler.

A obstrução foi resolvida em 42 (87,5%) pacientes. Os 6, que não curaram, foram tratados com sucesso, com 1 sondagem.

SUMMARY

A series of 48 children with congenital nasolacrimal system obstruction were treated with local hidrostatic massage of Crigler.

The obstruction was resolved in 42 (87,5%) patients. The six patients who didn't respond to the massage were cured with one probing of the nasolacrimal system.
