Neste estudo são verificados os tipos de orientação dados aos pacientes sob controle de diurese e o que eles sabem a respeito. O interesse demonstrado pelo paciente em saber do seu controle também é abordado.

ABSTRACT The study reveals the kind of orientation given to patients under diuresis control; verifies what they know about it and find out the percentual of interest shown by the patients in getting more informations regarding the control.

É por via da legislação que se criam ou se extinguem não só direitos e deveres, mas as próprias instituições. Daí a importância de ccnhecê-la, mormente quando se trata da legislação da própria profissão. Além disso, o Código Civil e o Código Penal brasileiros dispõem que a ignorância ou a errada compreensão da lei não constituem alegações excusáveis quando se trata de cumprir a lei. A autora analisa a evolução histórica da legislação no campo do ensino em nível de graduação e sobre alguns aspectos dos cursos de pós-graduação em enfermagem. Descreve a situação atual do curso de enfermagem geral, de acordo com o Parecer do Conselho Federal de Educação n.° 163/72, e sugere a criação de habilitações também na área de Enfermagem Pediátrica e Psiquiátrica.

Abstract in English:

Legislation founds and extinguishes not only rights and duties but the own institution. Therefore it is important to know the Law, even more, if it is the own professional legislation. Beyond this the Brazilian Civil Code and the Penal Code decree that ignorance or wrong understanding of Law are not excuse of no fulfillment of Law. The author analyses the historical evolution of legislation in teaching area at undergraduate level and some aspects of the graduate courses in Nursing. She describes the present situation of th general Nursing course, in accordance to Governmental Judgement 163/72 of Federal Council of Education which establishes habilitacion in Medical-Surgical, Obstetrical and Public Health Nursing. The author proposes establisment of habilitation also in Psychiatric and in Paediatric Nursing.

A autora apresenta e enfatiza a utilização de um histórico de enfermagem elaborado com a finalidade principal de ser preenchido pelo próprio paciente sob a forma de um questionário. São abordados os objetivos do processo, os requisitos para um modelo de questionário e as respectivas normas de utilização.

Resumo Os autores elaboraram um estudo experimental em ratos para avaliar o valor nutritivo de três associações distintas de feijão jalo com feijão soja, determinando os índices de valor protéico de BENDER e DOELL (1957) = NPR (Net Protein Ratio) e NPU (Net Protein Utilization) teórico. Verificaram que a associação do feijão jalo ao soja, nas três proporções estudadas, aumentou significativamente a eficiência de utilização protéica, quando comparada à do feijão jalo usado isoladamente. No entanto, quando comparadas à soja isolada, as associações, contendo 25/75 e 50/50 de feijão jalo/soja, revelaram um valor proteico significativamente menor.

Abstract in English:

The authors developed an experimental study with albino rats, in order to evaluate nutritional value of three different mixtures of yellow beans and soya, determining NPR (Net Protein Ratio) and NPU (Net Protein Utilization) according to BENDER & DOELL (1957) index. They verified that the association of yellow bean and soya, in the three proportions that were studied, efficiency of protein utilization increased considerably when compared to yellow beans used alone. There was no significative difference between 75/25 and 50/50 mixture proportions, but there were differences among these two and the 25/75 mixture, wich, revealed proteic value similar to the soya alone.

A autora procurou identificar os tipos e os problemas de enfermagem referentes ao cabelo e couro cabeludo, apresentados por pacientes internados em clínicas médicas e cirúrgicas gerais de um hospital governamental de ensino. Identificou 4 classes de problemas: estado de limpeza, lesões, infestações e penteação. Cada classe foi subdividida em graus os quais foram denominados tipos de problemas. A proporção de problemas por paciente encontrada foi 0,80 e a proporção de pacientes com problemas foi 58%. Foram também estudadas algumas condições que podem intervir no cuidado ao cabelo e ao couro cabeludo e foram obtidas informações sobre hábitos e costumes apresentados pelos pacientes.

Abstract in English:

The author tried to identify types and number of hair and scalp nursing problems presented by medical-surgical patients of a governmental teaching hospital. Four (4) classes of problems were identified: cleanliness conditions, lesions, infestation and combing conditions. Each class was sub-divided into a scale, named types of problems. The proportion of detected problems, per patient, was of 0,80 and the proportion of patients with problems was of 58,00%. Some conditions that may interfere in hair and scalp care were also studied and some information gathered on habits and practices of subjects.
