Resumo Os feminismos nas Relações Internacionais têm se caracterizado por uma cisma entre epistemologias críticas e empiricistas, com implicações para as práticas explicativas das feministas. Neste artigo, argumento que essa aparente cisma se dissolve quando recuperamos as ontologias feministas vis-à–vis suas explicações constitutivas e causais. Nesse processo, evoco a ideia de poderes causais para demonstrar a inter-relação entre constituição e causalidade e para reconfigurar o debate sobre explicação dentro dos feminismos das RI. Concluo que a explicação feminista é simultaneamente constitutiva e causal, o que é articulado pela ontologia dos poderes causais.

Abstract Feminisms in International Relations have been characterized by a schism between critical and empiricist epistemologies, with implications for feminists' explanatory practices. In this article, I argue that this apparent schism dissolves when we recover feminist ontologies vis-à-vis constitutive and causal explanations. In this process, I discuss the idea of causal powers to demonstrate the interrelationship between constitution and causality, and reconfigure the debate about explanation within feminist IR. I conclude that feminist explanation is simultaneously constitutive and causal, which is articulated by the ontology of causal powers.

Resumen Presentamos una revisión teórica sobre la relación mujeres-brujas, naturaleza, re-existencias y resistencias afrodiaspóricas en Latinoamérica y el Caribe, ante la división moderna/colonial entre lo humano y no humano. Problematizamos las diversas formas de violencia y discriminación contra las mujeres subalternizadas, en particular aquellas denominadas “brujas”; también el silenciamiento epistémico moderno/colonial de los saberes otros. Los ejes de interpretación, construidos como categorías emergentes del análisis cualitativo, abordan la persecución de las mujeres-brujas y el capitalismo, la relación con la naturaleza, brujería y saberes otros, y la resistencia descolonial de las mujeres en la afrodiáspora. El reto para la Psicología está en descolonizar el modo de entender la naturaleza y proponer investigaciones capaces de acercarse a otras interpretaciones del mundo, otras formas de conocer, de ser y existir, como las de las mujeres-brujas. Su relación con la naturaleza, no sigue la ontológica moderna, dual, patriarcal y capitalista; por el contrario, las plantas, los animales, los minerales, entes y divinidades configuran su cotidianidad, sus re-existencias y resistencias.

Abstract We present a theoretical review on the relationship women-witches, nature, re-existences and afro-diasporic resistance in Latin America and the Caribbean, in the face of the modern/colonial division between the human and the non-human. We problematize the various forms of violence and discrimination against subalternized women, in particular those called "witches"; also the modern/colonial epistemic silencing of other knowledge. The axes of interpretation, constructed as emerging categories of the qualitative analysis, deal with the persecution of women-witches and capitalism, the relationship with nature and, the decolonial resistance of women in the afrodiaspora The challenge for Psychology is to decolonize the way of understanding nature and propose research capable of approaching other interpretations of the world, other ways of knowing, being and existing, such as those of women-witches. His relationship with nature does not follow the modern, dual, patriarchal and capitalist ontology; on the contrary, plants, animals, minerals, entities and divinities configure their daily life, their re-existence and resistance.

Resumo Neste artigo, discuto a feminização da imigração portuguesa para uma capital amazônica, Belém, entre 1850 e 1930, na perspectiva dos estudos feministas que levam em conta as categorias de classe social, gênero, sexualidade e raça. Meu objetivo é analisar a experiência das mulheres imigrantes a partir do fluxo de deslocamento, do trabalho e dos arranjos domésticos, questionando a noção de passividade e de acompanhante que lhes é atribuída, bem como a subordinação de seu trabalho. Concluo pontuando que a hierarquia de gênero e sexualidade reforça estereótipos que subalternizam a imigração feminina na História e na Historiografia. Por sua vez, a racialização positivada do corpo da mulher branca europeia foi acionada como contraponto às brasileiras. Metodologicamente, realizo o jogo de escalas da micro-história, associando à análise quantitativa o estudo de redes sociais.

Abstract This article discusses the feminization of Portuguese immigration to an Amazonian capital, Belém, between 1850 and 1930, from the perspective of feminist studies that take into account the categories of gender, sexuality and race. My objective is to analyze the experience of immigrant women through the flux of travel, work and domestic arrangements, questioning the notion of passivity and companionship attributed to them, as well as the naturalization and subordination of their work. I will conclude by pointing out that the hierarchy of gender and sexuality reinforces stereotypes that subordinate female immigration both in history and in historiography. In turn, the positive racialization of the white European woman's body was activated as a counterpoint to Brazilian women. Methodologically, I investigate different scales of microhistory, associating the study of social networks with quantitative analysis.

Resumo Nas intersecções de gênero, raça e classe, Nossa Senhora Aparecida emerge como uma figura assombrosa – ou aparição –, dando acesso a elementos marginalizados, reprimidos, trivializados e negados. O processo ritual do catolicismo popular produz um efeito de montagem: Aparecida e a mulher-loba. As semelhanças entre essas duas figuras surpreendem. Seguindo a sequência de performances de Aparecida na basílica; da mulher-loba no parque de diversões; e das senhoras do Buraco dos Capetas em seus dramas cotidianos; descobre-se como o corpo abjeto em performance, mesmo sendo reprimido, lampeja de modo significativo para devotas e devotos em situações críticas e de risco.

Abstract At the intersections of gender, race, and class, Aparecida emerges as a haunting figure, giving access to that which is marginalized, repressed, trivialized, and denied. The ritual process of popular Catholicism produces a montage effect: Aparecida and the she-wolf. Uncanny similarities between these ghost figures are explored. Following a sequence of performances involving Aparecida in the basilica; the she-wolf in the amusement park; and ladies of Devils’Hole, in their daily dramas; one sees how, as a flashing image, the abject body in performance, even if repressed, becomes meaningful for devotees of Our Lady in critical life-threatening situations.

Resumo O texto aborda as dinâmicas desiguais do subcampo científico da Comunicação no Brasil, pelo olhar de pesquisadoras Bolsistas Produtividade (CNPq) do estrato mais elevado (PQ1). Situamos a discussão sobre gênero e ciência, com foco no produtivismo acadêmico e suas incidências para as dinâmicas desiguais do campo. Foram entrevistadas cinco interlocutoras, através de uma entrevista semiestruturada. As entrevistadas percebem que as chances e oportunidades se concretizam de forma desigual para as mulheres, embora algumas não reconheçam que isso tenha afetado de modo direto sua trajetória. São dificuldades mencionadas a ocupação de espaços institucionais, o que envolve a dedicação a atividades-meio x atividades-fim, dedicação a espaços de poder e/ou representação, e também a dupla jornada de trabalho.

Abstract The paper explores the unequal dynamics of the scientific subfield of Communication in Brazil, through the eyes of women researchers Productivity Scholars (CNPq) of the highest stratum (PQ1). We situate the discussion on gender and science, focusing on academic productivism and its incidences on the unequal dynamics of the field. Five female interlocutors were interviewed, through a semi-structured interview. The women interviewed perceive that the chances and opportunities for women are unequal, although some of them do not recognize that this has directly affected their trajectory. They mention difficulties related to the occupation of institutional spaces, which involves dedication to middle versus end activities, dedication to spaces of power and/or representation, and also the double working journey.
